Dr. Sue Hwang
Dr. Sue grew up in the Sunshine State, Florida. She graduated from University of Florida with a Microbiology & Cell Sciences major as the college’s Valedictorian and completed her dental education from University of Pennsylvania with a double degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master in Bioethics (MBE). With her strong interests in education and caring for children, she then came to New York where she completed her certificate in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University. Dr. Sue has further shared her passion in pediatric dentistry by treating children abroad in multiple dental mission trips to Guatemala since 2010. She now resides in New York City with her daughter and her husband who works as an interventional radiologist in New Jersey.
She is a respected diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a board certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Sue focuses on preventive care to help each child have a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. She hopes to do her very best in guiding her patients’ dental growth and development within a caring, nurturing environment.
Dr. Yoonsuk Choi
Dr. Choi is a dedicated general dentist from Levittown, NY, with a strong passion for working with pediatric patients. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry and went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he received advanced clinical training in comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Choi’s interest in working with pediatric patient populations stems from his experiences as a middle school basketball coach for the town of Hicksville and as a longtime summer camp counselor. These roles helped him develop a deep understanding of how to communicate with and motivate children, skills he now brings into his dental practices every day.
Firmly believing that prevention is the best treatment, Dr. Choi is committed to helping children build lifelong oral hygiene habits from an early age. His calm and friendly approach puts your patients at ease, and he strives to make every dental visit a fun, educational, and positive experience.
